Physical Performance Coach

About the Role
The AFL Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Performance Coach to join our team. As a key member of our sports science department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a strength and conditioning program that exposes athletes to an age-appropriate, progressive, and challenging strength training stimulus to promote long-term athlete development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a strength and conditioning program that aligns with the AFL's high-performance goals.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate an engaging rehabilitation process and individualized return to perform programs for injured athletes where appropriate.
- Monitor and provide feedback to the High-Performance Lead and coaches on training sessions.
Requirements:
- A degree in Exercise Science or equivalent.
- ASCA Level 1 (Level 2 preferred).
- Current Working with Children Check (Ochre Card).
