About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Relief Operator to join our team at Parramatta City Council. As a Relief Operator, you will be responsible for providing self-managed cleansing services to maintain and improve the appearance of our public domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of public domain and assets to identify areas requiring attention
  • Implement effective work practices in line with industry standards and regulations
  • Operate high-pressure cleaning units, mechanical street sweepers, and garbage rear-loading compactors
  • Previous experience in operating heavy plant equipment is highly desirable
About You

We are looking for a candidate with relevant experience in a similar role and operational environment. You will need to possess a competent understanding of small and heavy plant operations, as well as a current NSW MR Drivers license. A White Card and current (TCR, IMP) traffic controller certification are also essential. Additionally, you will need to hold a current Chemical application Chem Use AQF3 certification or be willing to obtain it.
