About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Relief Operator to join our team at Parramatta City Council. As a Relief Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our public domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of public domain areas to identify maintenance needs
  • Implement effective work practices to ensure high-quality cleansing services
  • Operate a range of equipment, including high-pressure cleaning units, mechanical street sweepers, and garbage rear-loading compactors
  • Previous experience in a similar role and operational environment is highly desirable
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in a similar role and operational environment
  • Competent understanding of small and heavy plant operations applicable to cleansing services
  • Current NSW MR Driver's license
  • White Card
  • Current (TCR, IMP) traffic controller certification or willingness to obtain
  • Chemical application Chem Use AQF3 certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to undertake the physical requirements of the role and area of specialization
  • Proven ability to work flexibly as part of a team
What's on Offer

This is a 6-month term contract opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits package.

The successful candidate will receive a salary of $63,897 to $70,362 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation.
