Job Title:

Development Team Member

Role Overview:

This role is responsible for driving the success of our underground operations by ensuring a safe and efficient work environment, meeting production targets and adhering to all policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating drilling equipment with due consideration for safety and environmental issues
  • Collaborating with mining engineers, geologists and the survey team to optimise operational efficiency
  • Providing reliable and accurate knowledge to minimise downtime and potential loss of production
  • Working effectively within a team to achieve common goals
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in underground hard rock techniques
  • Experience operating heavy machinery
  • Proven knowledge of charging, firing, bogging and trucking development headings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current WA Dangerous Goods Card and Working at Heights Certificate are desirable

The successful incumbent will be based in Laverton, Western Australia and will be required to participate in a fly-in-fly-out arrangement from Perth.
