Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maritime Security Guard to join our team. The role of a Maritime Security Guard is pivotal in protecting the integrity and safety of all established maritime zones.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling access into a maritime zone (both persons and vehicles) in accordance with MTOFSA regulations.
  • Internal and external foot and vehicle patrols will also be conducted to ensure the security of the area.
  • Monitoring WHS, CCTV surveillance, and responding to various site alarms are essential duties of this role.

The position requires:

  • A Certificate II in Security Operations as per industry standards.
  • A current and applicable Security license from the relevant state authority.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as an MSG or working in a busy Gatehouse role.
  • Previous CCTV monitoring experience is highly regarded in this field.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
