Maritime Systems Engineer Role Overview

Our team provides professional services to the Defence Maritime Industry, partnering with clients to implement sustainable solutions.

We are seeking high-performing Engineers or experienced Maritime Technicians to join our dynamic team in Sydney.

You will contribute to Defence operational capability through engineering support services for Defence clients.

  • Work within a project team to deliver maritime capability related projects.
  • Build and maintain effective client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Be a subject matter expert relating to Defence maritime systems processes.
  • Lead, manage, and deliver Defence maritime projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Understand and translate client engineering requirements into project deliverables.
  • Provide sound advice and solutions to dynamic and complex issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Defence writing standards and documentation requirements.

About You

An ideal candidate would have knowledge and experience in Navy ships maintenance and Navy engineering practices. Australian Government security clearance is mandatory.

Required Capabilities

  • Previous project experience within the Defence environment.
  • Possess relevant qualifications in engineering (electrical, mechanical, systems).
  • Hold a current Australian Government security clearance at Baseline level or higher.
