About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Specialist to lead multiple projects in the Maritime Industry Workforce Plan, supporting the establishment of Australia's Strategic Fleet and the broader maritime industry.

This role involves leading change and managing projects that accelerate access to and grow workforce capability in the Maritime Industry. Key responsibilities include developing high-quality project documentation, designing engagement experiences for industry and government stakeholders, and leading research initiatives to inform the maritime program.

The successful candidate will have senior-level policy experience, a sound understanding of the Australian Vocational Education and Training system, and strong project management and organisational skills.

  • Developing and delivering high-quality maritime sector-focused project documentation
  • Designing and implementing effective engagement experiences for stakeholders
  • Leading research initiatives to inform the maritime program

The ideal candidate will be based in a capital city, with hybrid working arrangements, and be willing to travel interstate and work outside normal business hours when required.
