The role of Trade Equipment Coordinator is a permanent full-time opportunity based at Simpson Barracks in Melbourne. The successful applicant will adhere to duties across two defence sites: Puckapunyal and Simpson Barracks, requiring occasional travel between sites.

To succeed in this role, you must have previous administrative experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook, and ability to build relationships. You should also possess planning, organisational, and communication skills, as well as a positive approach to teamwork.

As a Trade Equipment Coordinator, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Undertaking office-based administrative tasks, including work order generation, reconciling receipts, call-in and call-out of equipment, and assisting with financial planning.
  • Timely delivery of locally assigned product schedules.
  • Maintaining close collaboration with customers and product management teams to coordinate product schedules, budgets, and service delivery.
  • Contributing positively to customer requirements assessment and strategy development.
  • Supporting trade repair officers with schedules and local deliveries.
  • Performing work order management and data entry tasks within Commonwealth Mandated Information Systems (e.g. MILIS).

This position requires an Australian Citizen who can obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.
