Operations Leadership Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our bitumen facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, overseeing facility operations, and implementing safety protocols.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have tertiary education in an engineering related discipline or trade certification, experience working in hazardous industrial plants, and minimum 5 years' experience in a similar leadership position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage production schedules aligned to forecasting and facility capacity.
  • Oversee day-to-day facility operations, optimise throughput, monitor stock levels and supply chains.
  • Champion a safety-first culture by implementing HSSE protocols and driving compliance with internal systems and regulations.
  • Supervise equipment and maintenance processes to ensure integrity of hydrocarbon process systems.
  • Prepare, manage and monitor budgets, track expenditures and identify cost-saving initiatives.
  • Implement and oversee quality management systems, enforce product specifications and production controls.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have tertiary education in an Engineering related discipline or hold Trade Certification, experience working in hazardous industrial plants, and minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
