We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Castle Hill. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, construction, and engineering, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Description:

The Project Engineer will report directly to the Project Manager and be responsible for reviewing tenders, scope of work, and ensuring project objectives are met. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing design and finishes selections to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Assisting the Contract Administrator with Variation Assessments to ensure accurate cost estimation.
  • Supporting the Project Manager with monthly reporting and minute-taking to maintain project transparency.
  • Establishing, implementing, monitoring, and tracking IMS (Integrated Management System) for the project to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Managing the project using company processes and procedures to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitoring defect rectification, project programs, and schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Reviewing sub-contractor programs to ensure alignment with project requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess a Tertiary Degree or Diploma in Building Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent, with a minimum of two years' experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer. Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office, programming, and ACONEX or similar document control software is essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum + superannuation
