Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Specialist to join our team on the Castle Hill Water Recycling Plant Compliance Project.

This role involves developing, reviewing, and negotiating contract variations, resolving challenges related to contracts and programs, collaborating with the Project Manager to achieve project goals, managing contract administration paperwork, monitoring work progress, and providing valuable advice to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing contract management strategies to ensure successful project delivery
  • Reviewing and negotiating contract variations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting
  • Collaborating with the Project Manager to achieve project objectives, milestones, and deadlines
  • Managing and maintaining all contract-related paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Providing expert advice to the Project Manager, Commercial Manager, and other stakeholders on contract-related matters

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with NEC4 contracts, particularly in Water Infrastructure projects
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, creativity, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with cost management, building variations, managing subcontractors, and EOTs
