Human Resources Advisor

This permanent full-time role is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, flying in and out of Perth. The ideal candidate will have experience in Human Resources, preferably within the resources sector.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to supervisors and managers on employment and industrial relations matters, partnering with leadership teams to engage and support employees, and acting as a point of contact for employees on HR and Payroll matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and guidance to supervisors and managers on employment and industrial relations matters
  • Partnering with leadership teams to engage and support employees, fostering a positive workplace culture across the site
  • Act as a point of contact for employees on HR and Payroll matters
  • Monitor and evaluate HR performance metrics to ensure alignment with site objectives
  • Assist in employee-related investigations and support the resolution of issues through facilitated discussions and meetings, while applying a risk management approach to each step of the process
  • Facilitate site-based leadership training as required and regularly present HR related information to leaders and teams
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide HR strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Administer high volume of contract variations for site-based employees, and facilitate the smooth transfer of employees between sites, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and processed efficiently
  • Maintain and update HR data, including organizational charts, databases, and systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in Human Resources space, preferably within resources sector
  • Qualification or relevant work experience in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or similar, coupled with current Australian C-Class Drivers licence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization, and the ability to always maintain confidentiality and professionalism
