We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Analyst to join our Asia Pacific Claims Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving claims made against our insurance policies in relation to Casualty, Professional Indemnity, and Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:- Review allocated cases and achieve settlement within designated personal authority level, in line with established standards, procedures, and guidance provided.
- Identify non-standard or complex claims and escalate to supervisor to ensure they are handled appropriately.
- Conduct pro-active settlement through negotiation, mediation, global settlement, or litigation and escalate to supervisor when necessary.
- Identify suspicious or fraudulent claims and escalate to supervisor for appropriate actions.
- Manage customer interactions in an efficient, courteous, and timely manner to deliver high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Organize and use approved internal and/or external suppliers to ensure appropriate and timely services are provided to customers.
- Support more experienced colleagues in the handling of non-standard cases.
- Assist in preparation of reports or analysis where necessary.
- Provide administrative support as required.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and policy requirements internally and externally.
- Relevant academic qualifications (A-level or diploma graduates or the equivalent), or Law graduate.
- Minimum 4 years' solid working experience in Casualty, Professional Indemnity, and/or Healthcare claims, or Law graduate with experience of 3rd party claims.
- Certificate of General Insurance (CGI) / ANZII or ACII / Law Degree.
- Be a team player and able to work independently and under pressure.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and customer service-oriented attitude.
