Senior Claims Manager

- We're seeking an experienced Claims Manager to join our specialty lines claims team.
- As a key member of our team, you'll partner with National Managers on portfolio health, complex claim strategy, and decision-making.
- You'll be responsible for providing technical decision-making for specialty claims teams across portfolios.
- Design and implement improvements to elevate technical decision-making within specialty claims teams and the broader Commercial Claims business.
- Serve as the next-level decision-maker for complex claim referrals from senior claims officers and leaders.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills will be essential in this role.
- You'll have experience in coaching and people development, and be able to mentor senior claims officers, technical specialists, and coaches.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience managing complex claims across financial lines and/or public liability (injury) risks.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in coaching and people development.
- Experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Experience as an associate or senior associate-level lawyer in an insurance law firm is highly desirable.
