We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Performance Analyst to join our team. As a Claims Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding the drivers of scheme performance and Claims performance problems/issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop key performance metrics using internal and external data and research to drive best-in-class claims management.
  • Maintain an understanding of scheme performance through operational performance and actuarial lenses, and changes in day-to-day claims and injury management processes.
  • Provide monthly insights about claims performance within and across schemes, including internal and external factors and trends impacting claims performance.
  • Provide analysis of the claims value chain to ensure Claims business is working towards best-in-class performance to meet scorecard/business goals.
  • Work closely with the Claims business to identify poor-performing segments or parts of the value chain that warrant deeper investigation of drivers of performance.
  • Conduct deep dive investigations, taking into account various scheme nuances which can limit the levers available to the Claims business.

About You:

  • Degree in Actuary, Statistics, Business, Commerce, or another relevant field is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analytics, biostatistics, actuarial, business, and industry fields is required.
  • Ability to strike a balance between critical thinking and hands-on analysis using tools and packages such as SAS, SQL, Tableau, etc.
  • Developed general insurance and claims knowledge is essential.
