Job Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Test Environment and Release Manager. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of ITIL practices.

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing code, configuration, and infrastructure releases within our organisation. This includes overseeing third-party vendor integrations and managing non-production test environments to support development, testing, and deployment activities.

A key requirement for this role is to establish and maintain a governance framework for configuration deployment and release management. Additionally, the manager will monitor and report on the health of non-production environments and manage regular environment refresh cadences.

This role demands close collaboration with internal Technology, Operations Support, and Business teams as well as external vendor teams to ensure adherence to best practices in Configuration and Release Management and Environment Management.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and relevant tools such as Jenkins, Git, Jira.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT release management, environment management, or a related field.
  • ITIL v3 or v4 certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
