Senior Test Specialist Position Overview

This role involves working as a senior test specialist within the payments settlements department, focusing on non-functional testing.

The successful candidate will be part of core modernisation program, aiming to upgrade core technology infrastructure. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless functionality within the modernized infrastructure through non-functional testing.

Key objectives include collaborating with stakeholders and developers, developing and executing non-functional test plans, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, implementing NFT strategies, conducting end-to-end and regression testing, and providing detailed test execution reports.

We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong background in non-functional testing, especially performance testing and failover testing. Ideal candidates should have expertise in implementing non-functional testing frameworks and tools, proficiency in running performance testing and monitoring tools, and experience in planning, management, support, and testing of non-functional changes to mission-critical systems.

A basic understanding of infrastructure modernization concepts is preferred. Additionally, we seek individuals who can effectively communicate test results and issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with NPP platform and payments testing concepts is advantageous.
  • Experience in Swift Messaging and ISO/Interact service testing, Sterling testing is highly desirable.

The position offers a fixed-term engagement concluding at the end of December 2026. The salary range for this position is between $800.00 and $900.00 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
