Job Description

Seeking a talented Senior Governance Specialist with relevant experience to join our team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and operate governance frameworks for projects, programs, or portfolios.
  • Drive improvements and uplift governance capabilities.
  • Develop and implement robust processes, managing overall governance and controls.
  • Refine existing governance practices in line with changing requirements and establish best practices and frameworks.
  • Liaise with Sponsors, Steering Committee members, and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Lead/coach/mentor governance team members.
Requirements
  • Self-starter with proven ability to set up and run governance systems.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in implementing improvements in the value delivered by governance.
  • Track record of successfully delivering governance services for technology projects & programs.
  • Proven abilities in the establishment and management of governance and controls for traditional and agile-run projects/programs/portfolios.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Solid stakeholder management skills and ability to influence.
  • Experience in EPMO as well as project-level governance is desirable.
  • Excellent references from previous employers and client sponsors.
  • High energy levels to ensure successful project delivery or turnaround success.
  • Tenacity and resilience, remain calm under pressure situations.
