AI Governance Specialist

As a Division Director of AI Non-Financial Risk, you will lead and evolve our specialist team.
Pioneering Future GovernanceIn this role, your primary mission is to cultivate a culture of responsible AI usage. You will pioneer our AI governance strategy, designing and executing a forward-looking vision for AI risk management that enables our commercial ambitions.
Key Responsibilities- Empower the organisation at scale by championing and executing a strategy to democratise AI risk knowledge, designing and delivering continuous training and resources.
- Engage directly on novel and high-impact AI initiatives, providing pragmatic advice that balances risk and commercial opportunity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders across Operating and Central Service Groups, ensuring AI governance is embedded into strategic decision-making.
- A track record of leadership in technology governance, AI strategy, product management, or risk management within a complex, innovative environment.
- Deep credibility and expertise in responsible and ethical AI principles, with an understanding of the "art of the possible" with AI.
- A positive, commercial risk mindset, with a proven ability to balance innovation and growth with robust governance.
- Experience building and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A strategic approach to building scalable systems.
