**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated pharmacist to lead our dispensary team.

About the Role:

The Dispensary Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the inpatient and outpatient dispensary services, manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, and ensure the efficient and safe supply of medications across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the inpatient and outpatient dispensary services
  • Manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
  • Ensure the efficient and safe supply of medications across the hospital
  • Work collaboratively with Clinical Pharmacy, Nursing, and Medical Teams to deliver best-practice care
  • Drive improvements in workflow, medication safety, and staff development
  • Mentor pharmacy interns and university pharmacy student placements
  • Develop clinical practice initiatives and advancements in pharmacy services

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Pharmacist Grade 3 qualification
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of current pharmacy practices and regulations
