About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Archer Daniels Midland Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks across our Pack Hall site.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain company housekeeping standards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Liaise with production management to achieve production targets and optimize equipment performance.
- Perform fault-finding and repair on packing machinery and process plant.
- Carry out general maintenance on processing and packing machinery.
- Repair and install a wide range of mechanical equipment using precision maintenance techniques.
- Operate within Company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to equipment health discussions.
- Use the CMMS system to raise and update work orders.
- Experience with PLC and pneumatic systems is an advantage.
- Participate in the creation of risk assessments and method statements for maintenance tasks.
- Understand maintenance metrics and support organizational goals.
- Mentor and coach colleagues as needed.
Requirements
- Time served as an Electrical/Mechanical maintenance apprentice.
- Educated to C&G, NVQ, ONC, or HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Multi-skilled engineer with a strong foundation in electrical engineering.
- Experience in industrial maintenance and/or automated production environment (ideally packaging).
- CMMS experience/knowledge is preferred.
- Working at heights and in confined spaces will be required.
