About the Role:

The Australian Defence Force (ADF) is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the mechanical aspects of our ships, both at sea and ashore. You will lead a team of engineering personnel, overseeing ship structure, propulsion systems, electrical generation and distribution, and domestic and associated mechanical services.

What We Offer:

When you join the ADF, you will receive a competitive salary package, starting from $100,845. You will also have the opportunity to pursue a degree in a job-relevant field, with your fees paid for. Upon completion of your degree, you will be eligible for automatic Chartered Professional Engineer accreditation with Engineers Australia.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical, Marine/Ocean, Aerospace/Aeronautical, Electrical (Power), or Naval Architecture. You must also be over 17 years old and able to provide evidence of your enrollment in or studying one of these fields.
