Vehicle Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Australian Defence Force (ADF) as a Vehicle Mechanic. As a key member of the Army's maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our military vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair a wide range of military vehicles, including general service vehicles, protected mobility vehicles, and earth moving vehicles.
- Work with specialist teams to maintain and repair advanced armoured vehicle systems.
- Perform safety and technical inspections on vehicles and equipment.
- Participate in general soldiering duties, such as manning defensive positions and patrolling.
As a Vehicle Mechanic in the ADF, you will gain valuable skills and experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. You will also have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of vehicles and equipment, and to develop your leadership and teamwork skills.

To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen, over 17 years old, and have completed an Australian Year 10 education (or equivalent) with passes in English, Mathematics, Science, and one other subject. You must also be able to obtain a security clearance and meet the minimum medical and fitness requirements.
