Water Resource Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resource Specialist to join our team in Central Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make a real impact on environmental projects.

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver technical and field support across water resource projects, including groundwater entitlement assessments and applications. You will work closely with our Victorian-based Principal Hydrogeologists to manage, analyse, and present environmental data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and analyse environmental data from various sources
  • Conduct desktop research and background reviews to provide technical guidance
  • Assist with report preparation, monitoring plans, and environmental site assessments
  • Provide expert advice on groundwater flow, hydraulics, contaminated land assessment, and water management
  • Coordinate and implement field programs, including drilling, monitoring well installations, and water sampling
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A degree in hydrogeology, geology, environmental science, or environmental engineering (postgraduate in hydrogeology desirable)
  • Up to 5 years' experience in relevant fields, including groundwater and soil sampling
  • Understanding of environmental and resource regulations
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and database experience advantageous
  • Full Australian work rights and current driver's license preferred
