Job Description

This role involves providing top-tier audio-visual support to ensure seamless technical experiences for our clients. You will be the main point of contact for the client, assisting them with any AV or tech requirements and ensuring all events run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support: Set up, operate and troubleshoot AV equipment, including displays, unified conferencing systems, audio devices, microphones and control systems.
  2. Client Assistance: Serve as the main point of contact for the client, assisting them with any AV or tech requirements and ensuring all events run smoothly.
  3. Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, maintenance and testing of AV equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.
  4. Event Support: Collaborate with event coordinators to understand AV requirements for various events and presentations; provide technical support throughout.
  5. Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve AV-related issues to minimise disruption.
  6. Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and reports for equipment usage, maintenance and any technical issues.
  7. Training: Provide basic training and guidance to users on AV equipment and systems as needed.
Key Experience & Capabilities
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an AV technical support role.
  • Technical certification in AV or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient in operating AV systems, video conferencing technology and troubleshooting AV hardware/software issues.
  • Commissioning, programming knowledge and experience is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing needs and environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
