As an AV Support Expert, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV equipment, including displays, unified conferencing systems, audio devices, microphones, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Ensure seamless technical experiences for clients by setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV equipment.
  • Client Assistance: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, assisting with AV or tech requirements and ensuring all events run smoothly.
  • Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and testing of AV equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.
  • Event Support: Collaborate with event coordinators to understand AV requirements for various events and presentations; provide technical support throughout.
  • Troubleshooting: Quickly diagnose and resolve AV-related issues to minimise disruption.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and reports for equipment usage, maintenance, and any technical issues.
  • Training: Provide basic training and guidance to users on AV equipment and systems as needed.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an AV technical support role.
  • Technical certification in AV or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient in operating AV systems, video conferencing technology, and troubleshooting AV hardware/software issues.
  • Commissioning, programming knowledge and experience is beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing needs and environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Positive and motivated attitude.
