Trade Execution Specialist

We are seeking a Trade Execution Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for executing trades in a timely and accurate manner, working closely with traders and senior traders to support the execution of our investment strategy.

  • Execute and manage low-touch Equity and FX orders across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Monitor and evaluate execution performance using in-house and third-party transaction cost analysis tools.
  • Gain an understanding of execution algorithms, order and execution management systems utilized globally.
  • Liaise with Portfolio Management, Research and operations in the region and across the globe.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance or quantitative related field.
  • 2+ years of financial service experience with at least 1 year of equity trading experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate and prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
  • Completed applicable trading exams and currently holds required certifications/licenses for trading.
  • Basic knowledge of execution analytics, trading strategies and risk management techniques.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and large data sets.
  • Experience with various trading technology tools including OMS, EMS & Trade Cost Analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced coursework in computer science, statistics, econometrics or mathematics.
  • Experience with SQL database and VBA programming with knowledge of other programming languages such as Python programming being a plus.
  • Experience working within the Trading department.
