Job Title:

Mechanical Fitter/Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter / Service Technician to service fixed plant sites, focusing on crushers and screening equipment in the Central & Southern suburbs of NSW.

  1. Deliver hands-on mechanical service and support to customers in the field
  2. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
  3. Commission crushing and screening equipment as OEM Representative
  4. Assemble and install mechanical equipment and systems
  5. Perform routine maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently
  6. Interpret technical drawings and specifications
  7. Act as technical bridge between customers product teams and sales
  8. Operate tools and machinery safely and effectively
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A mechanical trade qualification or equivalent experience
  2. Experience with vibrating screen and crusher maintenance
  3. Metso machinery experience is preferred
  4. Be physically fit and pass random medical drug tests
  5. Have strong communication negotiation and presentation skills
  6. Be able to travel on short notice, work flexible hours and occasionally stay overnight
