Legislative Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Legislative Compliance Specialist to join our Safety, Health and Wellbeing team. Based in Sydney, you will play a critical role in ensuring our systems and processes meet legislative obligations.

  • About the Role
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Identify emerging issues, trends and risks relevant to the business, including monitoring of legislative changes.
  • Monitor compliance to process adherence to help reduce risk and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement internal assurance programs, including alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver regular reporting on safety, health and wellbeing performance, using data to drive improvements.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in safety, health and wellbeing or equivalent, and/or relevant industry experience.
  • 8+ years experience in safety, health and wellbeing, ideally in FMCG, retail, customer-focused or fast-paced businesses.
  • Extensive legislative and assurance experience, including dealing with regulators and external auditing bodies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of State and Territory legislative requirements.
  • Strong track record of measurable achievements in previous safety, health and wellbeing roles.
