Job Title: Corporate Lawyer

About the Role:

As a corporate lawyer, you will play a vital role in supporting our business strategy by providing expert legal advice and guidance across various key areas. These include Corporate and Commercial, Procurement, IT, Employment, Intellectual Property, and more.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Delivering high-quality training and guidance to staff on legal and compliance matters, enhancing our organizational excellence.
  • Providing timely and accurate legal advice to senior leadership teams, finance, marketing, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Corporations Act, Fair Work Act, and Privacy Act.
  • Developing, reviewing, and amending internal policies to guarantee consistency, relevance, and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Managing domestic and international insurance matters, including annual renewals and claims management.
  • Overseeing commercial disputes and litigation, collaborating with external experts where necessary.

Requirements for Success:

  • 4+ years of experience in legal practice, either in-house or private law.
  • A valid practicing certificate in Australia with the authority to supervise legal practice by others.
