We are seeking a Contracts Manager to lead the transition of our Baggage Handling System (BHS) at Melbourne Airport, ensuring seamless operations and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the BHS transition, maintaining operational readiness and optimal system performance during all phases of the transition.
  • Direct the implementation and integration of system upgrades and changes throughout the fixed-term period.
  • Closely collaborate with Senior Leadership, Airport Operations, and Project Teams to ensure effective communication and strategic alignment.
  • Proactively identify and address risks related to transitional operations and project delivery.
  • Provide leadership and day-to-day operational support to the Port Manager, fostering continuity and performance.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Health & Safety Certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) or equivalent knowledge of safety compliance in operational environments.
  • 5+ years in airport, logistics, or infrastructure project environments, with direct experience in managing transitions or complex system implementations.
