We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the successful transition of our Defence Contracts team.

**Job Description:**

The Phase In Manager will be responsible for:

  • Management and governance of Phase In Workstreams, including governance of meetings and subcontractors;
  • Recruitment and Defence security requirements for new employees;
  • SITE AUDITS on existing plant, equipment and facilities;
  • procurement of appliances and specialist equipment;
  • development of plans required to be submitted during phase in;
  • Line management of junior staff, including providing support and guidance;
  • Communication and liaison with the client (Dept of Defence);
  • Review, development, monitoring, updating and reporting of Transition Schedules, checklists and plans;
  • Manage and report on risk and mitigation strategies;
  • Feasibility investigations of plant and equipment solutions and development and submission of associated business cases;
  • Proactively identify and recommend solutions to improve processes;
  • Cost monitoring of phase in expenditure;

- Strong logistics coordination skills and experience;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Results focused with the ability to identify and prioritise problems and issues;
- Ability to successfully engage stakeholders from various levels of the business;
- Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level;
