About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Retail Lease Administrator to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with legal documents, contract approvals, and negotiations that require a deep understanding of the Lease Acts. As a key member of our property team, you'll ensure seamless operations, from document management to gathering essential pre-trade information for new openings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and Prepare Legal Documents: Handle legal documents from landlords and solicitors, prepare contract approval forms, and assist in executing them to perfection.
  • Negotiate and Craft Offers: Collate comprehensive letters of offer and negotiate the best deals in line with the relevant Lease Acts.
  • Ensure Smooth Operations: Manage timely and accurate document management for the grand opening of new premises, liaising with the broader business to ensure everything is prepped to perfection.
  • Gather Essential Pre-Trade Information: Collect all required pre-trade ingredients like leases, licenses, deeds, permits, rent in advance, bank guarantees, insurance, landlord contributions, and storage agreements for a smooth handover and opening.
Requirements:
  • 5-Star Experience: At least 5+ years' experience in lease administration within the retail or commercial property leasing environment.
  • Legal Expertise: A background in financial or general paralegal work with a strong understanding of Lease Eagle software and the Retail Leases Act (by state).
  • Attention to Detail: Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines as required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with people at all levels.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to keep everything running smoothly, just like a well-oiled machine.
  • Team Player: A close-knit team player who can relish the moment and contribute to the team's success.
