Job Title:

Executive Manager, Legal

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Manager to join our team and lead the development of legal services. This role will involve leading a high-performing team to provide world-class legal and governance services.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies for the legal team to improve its performance and efficiency.

Lead a team of legal professionals to provide expert advice on employment law, industrial relations, and safety and wellbeing.

Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in top-tier law firms and leading corporates.
  • Strong leadership and talent development skills.
  • Advanced legal skills, including technical legal analysis, advice preparation, effective communication, and drafting of contractual documentation.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, along with project management capabilities.
  • Bachelor of Laws or equivalent, with Australian legal expertise essential and NZ an advantage.
  • Qualified as a legal practitioner and admitted to appropriate professional body.
