Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to take on the role of Chief Executive. This position requires someone with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of emergency management and fire services operations.

Job Summary

The Chief Executive will be responsible for developing and managing a risk-based Emergency Management Framework for the state within a national context. They will work closely with the Minister for Emergency Services and Correctional Services to ensure effective allocation of resources and adequate frontline services to support South Australia's community.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an emergency management framework that prioritizes the safety and well-being of South Australians.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and drive sector advancements.
  • Lead the development of strategic plans and policies to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • A strong track record of leadership experience in emergency management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A deep understanding of emergency management principles and practices.
