We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Empowerment Specialist to join our team at Feros Care. As a key member of our Local Area Coordination team, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to live bold and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to support individuals with disabilities in achieving their goals and aspirations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with individuals, families, and community organizations to ensure seamless support and coordination.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to individuals with disabilities to navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and access mainstream services.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community-based programs and initiatives that promote inclusivity and accessibility.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure individuals are receiving the best possible support and services.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in disability, allied health, or community services, or lived experience with disability or caring for someone with disability.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including individuals, families, and community organizations.
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS and its principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
