Category Product Strategist

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented professional to support our commercial Sales and Marketing team by managing relationships with key retail customers, identifying sales and marketing opportunities, and assisting in category planning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing product ideas, writing product descriptions, analyzing data to drive category growth, optimizing customer planograms, reviewing and optimizing customer planograms and assortments, managing product registration, artwork approvals, and factory audits, presenting regular reports on slow-moving stock, competitor analysis, and promotional recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop product ideas and write product descriptions
- Analyze data to drive category growth and optimize customer planograms
- Review and optimize customer planograms and assortments
- Manage product registration, artwork approvals, and factory audits
- Present regular reports on slow-moving stock, competitor analysis, and promotional recommendations
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail or FMCG environment, preferably in a category, sales, or marketing function
- Degree in Marketing or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
- Experience with Adobe platforms is an advantage
- Strong creative skills for point-of-sale materials and understanding of planogram planning and execution
