At SpaceX, we're developing the technologies to make human life on Mars possible. We're currently building the Starship launch vehicle and need a Mechanical Engineer with Machine Design expertise to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and activate custom machinery and infrastructure to support production and handling of Starship launch vehicles.
  • Collaborate with vehicle engineers to influence vehicle design and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop detailed models and engineering prints in NX to deliver results on projects.

We're looking for someone with experience using CAD software design packages like Solidworks or NX, as well as knowledge of finite element analysis and GD&T.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 1+ years of experience in mechanical structure design, academic research, or professional experience.
