Fire Service Role

We are seeking a Fire Service professional to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter.


This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in your community by contributing to emergency response and prevention activities.


The role involves working closely with other teams to deliver high-quality fire, rescue, emergency, and disaster management services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency incidents and participate in regular drills and training courses to ensure safety and effectiveness on the fire ground.
  • Contribute to community education activities to promote emergency preparedness and safety.
  • Maintain competencies and operate specialist firefighting equipment in a safe and effective manner.

Requirements

Applicants must possess strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.


They must also have a valid manual driver's license and reside or work within a reasonable distance of an auxiliary fire station.


Additional Requirements:

  • Australian Permanent Resident Status.
  • Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable).
