Auxiliary firefighters play a vital role in supporting emergency services teams.
About the JobThis casual position requires you to respond to fire and other emergency incidents. You will be part of a team promoting community safety and emergency preparedness through education and training activities.
Main Responsibilities- Respond to fire and other emergency incidents, ensuring community safety and emergency preparedness.
- Contribute to community education activities promoting safe practices and emergency preparedness.
- Participate in regular drills and training courses to develop and maintain competencies.
- Maintain attendance standards for emergency incidents and training.
- Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment safely and effectively.

- Written consent from your employer to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable).
- You must live or work within a reasonable distance of an auxiliary fire station.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be physically fit, and have the ability to work well under pressure.
