About the Role

The Program Delivery Officer is a vital part of our team, working to reduce reoffending by delivering impactful programs that foster positive change in inmates' lives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapeutic and criminogenic programs to inmates based on Offense-Related Program objectives, creating a supportive environment for growth and development.
  • Assess inmate suitability, maintaining accurate documentation of progress and providing valuable insights for future improvement.
  • Evaluate and recommend strategies to enhance participant attendance, taking into account individual needs and preferences.
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, engaging in ongoing training and development to stay at the forefront of industry best practices.
  • Promote rehabilitation initiatives, contributing to the reduction of reoffending and making a lasting impact on communities.

Requirements
  • Hold a qualification in Psychology, Criminology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Community Services, or a related discipline, or possess relevant industry experience.
  • Possess a Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Case Management) or complete it within the first 24 months of employment, ensuring expertise in case management.
  • Demonstrate ability to prepare and submit accurate reports within required timeframes, showcasing attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Showcase experience in group facilitation, preferably dealing with complex mental health or behavioral issues, to effectively support participants.
