
Leading Community Mental Health Specialist

Global Medics is partnering with the Mid Coast Local Health District to recruit a Staff Specialist Psychiatrist/Consultant Psychiatrist in Community Mental Health.
The role is based in Coffs Harbour, a thriving city boasting beautiful beaches and a rich cultural scene.
Key Responsibilities:- Leads a multidisciplinary team providing specialist psychiatric services to patients.
- Promotes patient safety and quality of care.
- Provides leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education for doctors in training, health service medical practitioners, and other health workers.
- Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) for candidates from the UK, or eligible registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists for candidates from other countries.
- Demonstrated clinical skills and experience working with mental health problems in adult mental health.
- Experience and ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
