Job Title: Accommodation Support Specialist

 

We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to support individuals experiencing homelessness in achieving sustainable housing outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the community.

 

As an Accommodation Support Specialist, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders, service providers, and participants to empower service users and develop their capacity for positive change.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Promote client-centred, strength-based, and trauma-informed practice consistent with established social futures frameworks;
  • Provide high-quality interventions and/or case management to support complex needs;
  • Support individuals to access services and resources that promote stability and growth;
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to ensure effective service responses;

 

Requirements:

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in health, psychology, social work, social science, or social welfare;
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations;
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills;
  • Demonstrated organisational, time management, and administrative skills;
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining professional boundaries while engaging in person-centred work;
