Insurance Risk Management Lead

This role involves identifying and managing insurance-specific risks to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Identification and Assessment: Design and implement strategies for understanding and mitigating insurance-related risks across the organization.
  • Culture Champion: Foster a risk-aware culture that sees risk as a business enabler, not just a control function.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage, educate, and influence senior leaders and subject matter experts on insurance risk management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on general insurance mandatory.
  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary education in quantitative fields such as Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with APRA prudential regulation and other relevant regulatory requirements impacting the insurance industry.
