Supply Chain Specialist

Optimize the procurement process, enhance logistics operations and improve supply chain performance to drive business growth.

  • Develop effective purchasing strategies and implement inventory management techniques to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers through negotiation, communication and contract management.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify opportunities for cost savings and optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Source and evaluate new suppliers to maintain performance records and manage quotes and orders.
  • Process and approve invoices, resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation and delivery of goods.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in supply chain management or business.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, presentation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and databases.
  • Attention to detail.
