Job Opportunity: Area Manager

This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills who can provide exceptional service to clients in Wollongong and the South Coast, NSW.

About the Role

The Area Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to clients. This field-based position requires a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day operational needs, fostering positive stakeholder relationships, and exceeding client expectations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide primary point of contact for clients
  • Lead a team of cleaning professionals
  • Manage people operations, including training and administrative tasks
  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding orders
  • Coordinate periodic works and extra works
  • Invoice for extra work and in-contract works
  • Conduct routine site audits (cleaning inspections)

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar leadership role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong organizational and administration skills
  • A reliable vehicle is essential for this role
  • Experience in the cleaning industry is highly desirable
  • A Working with Children and National Criminal History check is required for this position
