Job Title: Disability Support Worker

We are seeking individuals with a passion for supporting people with disabilities to join our team as compassionate and experienced support workers.

About the Role:
  • Providing in-home care and assisting participants with daily tasks such as meal preparation, personal care, and medication administration.
  • Supporting participants with domestic duties to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
  • Empowering participants to achieve their personal goals and fostering independence.

As a disability support worker you will be working closely with an Area Manager who will provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to ensure you are delivering the best care possible.

About You:
  • At least 1 year of experience in the disability sector is highly desirable but not necessary.
  • Previous experience working with clients with Dementia and Behaviors of concern is advantageous.
  • Experience with mobility aids and hoists is essential.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certificates are required.
  • A Certificate III in Disability (or similar) or higher is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful connections with participants is crucial.
  • Organizational skills and a proactive approach to care delivery is key.
  • NDIS Workers Check is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license and access to your own car is desired.
