Job Role Summary

This is a key opportunity for an experienced Childrens Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team in Knowsley.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support services to vulnerable adults.

To excel in this role, you will require a DipSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work, registration with the Social Work England register, and a valid Enhanced DBS certificate. You will also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to make informed decisions based on available information, and proficient IT skills.

You will work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment, bringing your knowledge of service needs to the table. You will contribute positively to meetings as requested by the manager, sharing insights gained from interactions with service users and highlighting potential issues affecting service user cases.

As a postholder, you will ensure accurate record-keeping of medication administration, including rescue medication, in accordance with our Medication policy. You will also maintain up-to-date and accurate records, including care plans, risk assessments, work-related logs, and template-based documents.

In supporting service users with mobility issues, you will utilize suitable equipment and conduct visual checks to guarantee safe usage of lifting equipment such as hoists, slings, and changing beds.
