Job Title: Dedicated Family Support Coordinator

About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a dedicated Family Support Coordinator, working closely with children, young people, and their families in Knowsley.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of the MASH team, you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare and safeguarding of children, young people, and their families. You will work under the supervision of a Social Care Manager to identify, monitor, and meet the diverse needs of children and their families.

The post-holder will have a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families, promoting positive outcomes through effective support and guidance.

Requirements
  • A Diploma in Social Work or equivalent qualification is required, along with registration with Social Work England and an enhanced DBS certificate.
  • You will possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with children, young people, and their families.
  • Competent IT skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to make good decisions based on available information.
