Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant

The role of an occupational rehabilitation consultant involves working with injured workers to provide exceptional care and support to help them return to employment.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your networks and industry knowledge to identify new return to work opportunities and develop relationships with employers seeking return to work support for their organisation.

Key responsibilities include case management, establishing key relationships with health professionals, and working within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing.

As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Australian Defence Force and Veteran community. You will take a holistic care approach, providing meaningful and purposeful work as you support your clients return to the same job or to find a new employment opportunity.

To be successful in this role, you will need current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA), occupational rehabilitation experience, tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Nursing, strong clinical reasoning, ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams, passion to help people rehabilitate, and demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
